Philanthropic Focus

Alpha Gamma Delta’s philanthropic focus is Fighting Hunger. Food insecurity affects every race, age and community, including the communities where we are placed. That is why we want to be a part of the solution. Partnering with national and local organizations, we are able to make an impact on our communities. We are committed to contributing to the world’s work as our Purpose calls us to do. As a sisterhood, we work together to make a greater impact.

Our impact is enhanced through fundraising for the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation. They provide fighting hunger grants to various organizations that are doing their part in their local community to fight hunger. Campus Involvement

From its foundation in 1978, Gamma Omega prides itself on cultivating leaders on UAB’s campus and in the Birmingham community. Our chapter’s values are showcased in our outstanding members and their accomplishments, including Trailblazers, Spirit Teams, University and Department Ambassadors, and even the Miss Alabama System, just to name a few. Gamma Omega consistently ranks in the top GPA rankings for UAB Fraternity and Sorority Life, a testament to our members' constant dedication to their studies. Being an Alpha Gam means leading with confidence and grace, and we are so proud of our sisters!
